Seemed to be a step slower than the other guys on D out there.

To me, anyway.

Trying to work something in about a "grassy knoll" here, but it's just not that simple.

Would happily take him, but not necessary. We've got Hanifin and Faulk as a top pair for the next 5 years.

He's not an overly powerful skater so not shocking but I bet part of it is to conserve energy. He's gunna play a lot for Finland and last year he basically burned out.

This seems pretty spot on.

He's used to playing 24ish minutes a game. Probably trying to conserve some energy whenever possible. For D it's almost more important to just make sure you're in the right place when you need to be. How quickly you get there doesn't matter so long as you get there in time.

I dunno. I want my defensemen to be the best skaters on my team in order to push the puck up the ice and force turnovers in the neutral zone.

That would be hard to come by for the Sabres though, since they have Jack Eichel, who is a phenomenal skater.

Chiropractors CAN NOT write prescriptions - THEY ARE NOT DOCTORS. Three different people I know are chiropractors. All three of them have email addresses that start with drbob or drfred or dreric.

I used to go to one who only charged $10/visit (weekly), just to keep you coming so they could bill the hell out of your insurance.

I stopped going when I was having more back pain regularly after going there than I ever did without.

In a perfect world, sure.

Absolutely, you can say anything you want. I didn't realize he was playing goalie though edit: didn't he clear it behind the net/shot came from behind the goal line? Sounds more like a rinne mistake

I love the kid as a player, and he's by no means anywhere near the realm of a bust....however, he does not look like a future cup caliber #1 D. (not talking about this tournament)
