it would not surprise me if the bills went 12-4 this year

I don't think the cardinals are that great, only certain loss I see is on the road to seattle

it also would not surprise me if the bills went 4-12 this year

I do. I see them playing real big this year.

Games where I almost guarantee a loss are Arizona, @Seattle, @Bengals, Steelers.

Games we SHOULD win are NYJ x2, Miami x2, @LA, 49ers, Browns. So that's 7-4.

Then you need to win 3 of the last 5: @Raiders, Jags, @Baltimore, NE x2.

Of course, as I type this Henderson gets a 4 game suspension so now all of this is trash.

inb4 "We won the offseason" because now it's the regular season.

Schefter is reporting that Henderson's pending substance abuse suspension is related to a treatment he received for his Crohn's disease.

If that's the case, the NFL needs to fix this. He has a disease. He needed treatment. There are going to be exceptions to every rule.

Bills' OT Seantrel Henderson is facing a four-game suspension for violating substance abuse policy, per NFL source. Under appeal.

Pretty poopty if it's because of that. I guess it depends on what it was. Health has to come first, I have to think he can appeal if it's because of that.

the cardinals and steelers, you should be in those games if your a decent team, with the game being home

I have no clue what to expect them the bengals, but I guess if you stop the run and double cover AJ, then you should have a long shot

no shot at seahawks unless you win the turnover battle by 3

Right? They've said how impressive it is that he's even in the shape he's in considering where he was at one point due to the disease.

I guess maybe this hits me a bit harder due to the fact that I have a good friend and my god-daughter that suffer from colitis (very similar to Crohn's). I've seen what they've gone through. It's not easy. Oh, and the treatment in most cases for these types of diseases is a steroid regimen. There are other more experimental treatments out there, but my guess would be they probably fall under the same type of drugs that are typically no no's in the sports world.

Rest of the league's fans seem to agree. Twitter seems to be supporting the bills which is a strange feeling

He tested positive for pot, used for pain associated with Crohn's. I 100% get it, but he knew that doing so would be a suspension. I don't think it should be for this, though. We'll see if this potentially eases the league's stance. That, or they could stay steadfast and use this as an example saying even if it's for a current condition a banned substance is 100% banned, no exceptions.

We'll see.

It'll be interesting for sure. I kind of wonder if his issues with it in college will be the reason they don't let it go.

Isn't pot used medicinally only as a treatment for pain? If so, I can understand them not permitting it's use as a reason to avoid suspension. There are other options, and it's not like players don't know ahead of time that it's a no-no - at the very least it's in some mass of paperwork I'm sure they all sign off on when signing their contract.

Peter Mueller has agreed to a professional tryout with the Boston Bruins.
He played for the Malmo Redhawks of the Swedish Hockey League last year, where he posted 13 goals and 25 points in 43 games.

And that's another point. He could have talked to the league and said "Hey, my doctor says this is what I need to do" and gotten a yes or a no and avoided this. If he has a medical marijuana card and proof that's what it is then it should be considered to be reduced, or even rescinded.

Here's hoping.

I don't believe medicinal is illegal under federal law.

http://www.latimes.com/na...l-pot-20141216-story.html

Recreational, yes. Legal in 2 states, illegal federally.

Also,

Approval of the pot measure comes after the Obama administration directed federal prosecutors last year to stop enforcing drug laws that contradict state marijuana policies. Since then, federal raids of marijuana merchants and growers who are operating legally in their states have been limited to those accused of other violations, such as money laundering.

that's old . They tuned down the request to remove it from the same class as heroin. That happened a couple weeks ago.
