There is no way that any scenario including Kris Russel would be as huge as the Isles picking up Leddy & Boychuck. He's comparable to neither.

This one seems to have went through a series of meetings and then got final approval from Ed Snider before he passed away. It's not bad and is getting positive and negative reaction like most get. I think the gold will grow on people when they realize it's a one year special jersey only.

Agreed, I would say Shattenkirk & Boychuck are comparable (which is why I think the Devils shouldn't offer more up than that). However, Leddy is far better than Fowler, and is worlds more valuable than Russell and Seidenberg

Shero hasn't been without his head-scratchers, i.e. Rob Scuderi, so I wouldn't be shocked to see you guys pick up either Russel or Seidenberg, but I can't see him getting both.

Fowler & Shattenkirk would be comparable to Leddy & Boychuk and I still wouldn't be shocked to see Shero get you both. Realistically, I can see one of Fowler & Shattenkirk and Russel.

Again, Shero has had some serious head-scratchers in his tenure with the Pens, but he's also pulled off some serious LARSSONy. He's good.

Who knows. STL needs to do something. Losing Backes and Brower hurt them pretty deep with scoring. Perron is not a suitable replacement for either.

Shattenkirk is their best move. They have some good young defense down the pipeline, so I think they can move him and not really get hurt.
