I know he posts some seriously questionable comments, so it may have been an accumulative thing... but getting banned for what he said in the Leafs thread is kind of ridiculous. I got banned once for telling a guy to (frank) off... I see people telling that guy to (frank) off all the time, yet they don't get banned. The bans on this forum are about as consistent as Roger Goodell's suspensions.

Seriously...I get banned for the some the most innocuous poop. (frank)ing sensitivity on the mods is through the roof. They should go occupy something.

Marchand - Bergeron - Spooner
Vatrano - Krejci - Pastrnak
Beleskey - Backes - Hayes
Acciari - Moore - Nash

I think that's the lineup I'd like to see out there opening night... I think Spooner and Backes would be interchangeable, but I'd like to see Spooner on the wing, I think that's where he fits best. Maybe swap in Randell some games... and maybe Heinen or Griffith crack the lineup at some point.

I hate seeing Hayes on the 3rd line, but whatchagunnado ¯_(ツ)_/¯

I'm puking at that 4th line

Marchand - Bergeron - Pastrnak
Vatrano - Krejci - Backes
Beleskey - Spooner - Griffith
Heinen - Nash - Randell
Moore/Hayes

I like your lines, but CJ will likely go with his newly formed Merlot line. I'm willing to bet Moore gets the 4th line center gig, flanked by nash and probably some other veteran forward Sweeney will sign during preseason.

At least the press box chairs are comfy right? The young players will just have to watch a bunch of hockey and wait for an injury.

Obviously Hayes won't be an extra. And likely that Moore will start the season on the 4th line. The faceoffs thing is an important issue. I also don't like pasta with Bergeron and Marchand.

Marchand Bergeron Spooner
Vatrano Krejci Pasta
Belesky Backes Hayes
Nash Moore Griffith

Or something like this is possible

Marchand Bergeron Backes
Belesky Krejci Hayes
Vatrano spooner Pasta
Nash Moore Griffith

I like a speedy young Third line, but it really doesn't give Krejci anyone to play with...

It won't matter when Krejci get's hurt anyways. It will be Backes' line.

Haha yeah, I think we all hate seeing Hayes in the lineup, but I think it's a foregone conclusion at this point.

It'll be interesting to see if Heinen can crack the lineup... I don't know much about him, but he seems to be the popular pick this year to make the B's.

And I think Moore will probably play like 60-75% of the games this year... I think they signed him to be a defensive faceoff/penalty kill specialist essentially (to replace Kelly... by why not just resign Kelly then?). But I don't think they'll have any problem taking him out of the lineup if anyone is playing well, or if he isn't playing well.

Personally I like Acciari's play last year... as Ty mentioned on the buzzcast, I don't think it would be smart to just hand him the spot, but I think he was a great 4th line presence last year, and I think he'll earn the spot again this year.
