we had a surprise party at my house for my mother in law Friday night, like 30 people. around 9 PM we realize that we haven't seen the dog in at least 2 hours which is weird because she hates being alone and goes batpoop crazy when we have people over. so we start searching outside and luckily my brother hears her whimpering faintly... she got stuck behind the back neighbour's fence and was probably sitting there crying for more than 2 hours in the pitch dark. she must have snuck out when people when out back to smoke.

she was ok, just all full of burrs, but could have been so much worse. people have had their cats or small dogs killed since it's such a rural area. we've become the worst dog owners since having a baby.
