He's a Season Ticket Holder -- mind your tongue, peon. He can say all the abysmal jokes and post all the borderline offensive GIFs, including ones from porn sites, that he chooses. Such is his right. |

I'm really worried about the forwards on the Phantoms that many 5'8" or less and 190 lbs or less guys are going to get worn down over the haul of an AHL season. At development camp they looked tiny during drills against all the defensive prospects who most are 6' and 200+.
Also was today sign the enforcer day? Maybe we see added bulk today - dragonoffrost
Heightest!!
I'm only 5'7 but do just fine in NHL16! |

So, rumor is Hudler to the Stars for 1 year, $2 mil. Not a bad deal for the forward with the 9th highest ES points/60 and 17th highest ES points over last 2 seasons. Guy is sheltered, but so what so are a lot of guys; he produces in those minutes without being worse than possession neutral. Stars seem to be compensating by their d getting decimated by just scoring the (frank) out of teams, even more than they league-leading were. |

We could help fill in their D with Mark Streit. But the only prospect I see that I'd be interested in is Honka, and the Flyers would probably have to include way more to get him. If only the Stars were a Canadian team... |

Wouldn't be surprised if Honka stepped up to the show this season. Would love to have him, even with 50% retained on Streit |

Hopefully Streit starts the season off hot. Need him to have a strong start especially the way he ended the season almost looking done. |

Hahahahah I was like..
Who the hell is Jason Richardinson. Such a weird name.
Google search. NOTHING.
Then I saw that Jason Richardson (who just retired from the Sixers and is an awesome dude) almost made hockey his career.

This season could be interesting. With the expansion draft coming next season, I wonder if you will see teams deal a player they can't protect for a player they don't have to.
Like if Laughton, just an example, doesn't play up to standard would they look to move him for a player they don't have to expose to the expansion draft.
Wonder if more teams might look at deals like that instead of possibly losing a younger player for nothing. |

Giroux, Voracek, Simmonds, Schenn, Couturier and Mason are easily the guys you protect but how does this work with Gostisbehere and Provorov potentially playing next season? |

It's why I'd look to make a move for Trouba, who (to me) seems disinterested in staying in Winnipeg. If we could offer something like Sanheim + 1st for him, and have permission to talk to Trouba to discuss terms, it would give Winnipeg a young, cheap LHD who they don't have to protect and a 1st, and gives the Flyers a young, proven, top-pair (I think) RHD. Only caveat is resigning MDZ, you'd have to expose Gudas. |
