Tryking to be objective hear, but who's the Isles goalie? Still a big problem. Signed Ladd, but lost Okposo, and Nielson (big loss), and Isles didn't sign anyone else. How are they getting better. - rrentz
They got Chimera but that's insignificant. I'm mainly looking to all the young guys to step up. They have Halak who's a capable starter and Greiss is an excellent backup. |

EK, people were saying the same about Byfuglien a year ago and he resigned with the Jets. I don't see Shattenkirk going anywhere. |

1. Sounds like Bruin fans were counting there chickens when it came to Vesey.
2. TML fans - Making Leaf's line combo's with Stamkos (err I mean Vesey) included. Then, Stamkos (oops did it again, Vesey) signs elsewhere. Oh we're so happy Stamkos (AHHHH, Vesey) didn't sign here. Never wanted him anyway.

The Isles are probably going to be fine considering all their young guys are gaining experience and their team will be healthy again. Lee and Nelson namely. They may also get plenty of help from Pulock and Barzal if they make the next step.
I'll admit I haven't heard of him, but after looking him up, I'm not really effected. It's nice that he's playing in a professional league and putting up good offensive numbers, but he's 21. I wouldn't expect more than a solid middle of the lineup player.
He may have been good last year, but you need him to carry the team and I don't know how long he can do that. - willschulme
I'm not saying Buchnevich will carry them. People tend to overlook the fact that Rangers have guys that went deep in playoffs 2 and 3 years ago and are still young guys that haven't even hit their prime. |

They do have guys. Nobody is arguing that. Still, a lot of those can be connected to Adam Henrique and Andy Greene. Were they good in 2012? Sure. Where they important to the run to the cup? Absolutely. Still, Kovalchuk and Parise carried the team. For you, it's the King. Like it or not, he's not what he was a few years ago and cannot carry your team like he did. |

Talk about teams on the way up. If I was a Ranger fan, I'd kill to be where the Leafs are. |

Rangers where 7th in offense last year. And that's with top scorer from previous year being hurt most of season. Will be top 5 this year after getting younger and faster. Wouldn't say Lundquist is all they got |

Nash for Shattenkirk?? Are you smoking crack lol if you've paid any attention to what the blue are doing their getting younger no way they take on Nash and his terrible contract keep dreaming your lucky you got vesey who on my opinion will be a 3rd liner at best he was way over hyped he's 24 and has never played a professional game watch him get rocked all season by players welcoming him into the league after the poop show he put on - Devils314
Blues need to move Shattenkirk or get nothing. Hitchcock likes Nash... They almost went to finals and lost Backes. I don't think they're goin into rebuild mode just yet. Nash should have a bounce back year after leg injury last season. With low cost signing of Vesey, Rangers can retain some salary |

I've said all along that Nash rumors would pick up if they signed Vesey. If they where in on Shattenkirk before, they're more so now. Rangers can give extension, retain some salary on Nash. Since Shatty makes 4.25 next season and Vesey only getting 925, can reasonably retain over 2 next season and maybe 1.5 the season after? - junaka3
No one in St. Louis wants Nash. |
