Bergeron and Krejci continue to get zero love from outsiders. Seems a big selling point Vesey's choice will be who his centerman is, and everyone just keeps bringing up toews, crosby and malkin. |

Bergeron is starting to get his due. Krejci hasn't done much the last 2 season but get hurt. |

Yes, because he is broken again. It's a like an expensive performance car. Really fun but totally un(frank)ing reliable and has the all durability of anything built in Korea. |

If reports are true, I'm just curious where the drastic fall off happened, the bruins were allegedly a top 3 favorite for him, and now we have the likes of Joe Haggerty saying it would take Sweeney "pulling a rabbit out his hat" for Vesey to sign here, mind you this was said before teams could talk to him. |

joe haggerty was the same guy that said the bruins should offer sheet Trouba. his speculation then became "a rumor". same thing here. he's speculating and that has become fodder. |

The only way Krejci being traded is warranted is if Spooner shows signs of improvement on his overall game over the first half of the season of so. And he lands a top 2 D straight up. He is our best playmaker. He's got a new hip, he should be repaired.
I still prefer no trade and rock the awesome top non we have. The development of our own Carlo, millers, zboril, and mcavoy should be enough for our D in a year or two. |

Yes we do. And for the most part it is absolute poop. Hence why they must bring the good poop with them. |

UPDATE: Haggerty now thinks it will ultimately come down to the devils, sabres and bruins. |

Why would this need to be reported on? The man is a fat, vacuous waste of oxygen. It doesn't matter what he thinks. |

If vesey comes Krejci has to be moved, I even argue that he should be even if vesey doesn't come. Yes he is a great playmaker who has played some great hockey for this team (when healthy), but at a certain point you have to move on from players, and that time should be now for krejci.
The D prospects are something to get very excited about, but none of them are quite ready yet to be effective NHLers, and we need IMMEDIATE help on the backend. Going into another season with an identical blueline is going to be a nightmare. Trading krejci will bring back the best haul of any of our forwards besides 63, 37 and 88.

So who do you propose we acquire with Krejci? I think we don't get our money's worth when so many teams want a top 3 D. I think Krejci for Shattenkirk is fair, but St. Louis doesn't... |

Can anyone else come up with a local kid who underperformed playing for his hometown Bruins? Jimmy murphy tweeting out that a source close to vesey says coming to boston is a long shot, because he is "acutely aware" of how boston kids struggle back home. Other than hayes last season, I'm struggling to come up with another example. |

Murphy makes stuff up. Most of the home town guys were just 3rd/4th liners that played like 3rd/4th liners. So the struggling stuff is way out of context even if he wasnt a complete hack. |
