We need to stick one of those GPS tracker thingies to Pegula's private jet.
Then we will know for sure when Vesey is signing with the Sabres. - Atomic Wedgie
I'd imagine that it already has something similar in place already, Sir Wedginald |

If hes smart he won't go to Pitt or Rangers or Chicago. They are all on the downswing, great teams but if he's looking for a longterm destination he should be looking at TOR, BOS (maybe), NJ or BUF. The future is much brighter in those locations where he can grow with the team and contend for years and years down the road. But some people want to win right now and all the power to them but I'd be thinking ahead. - bballboy514
Chicago is still very much a force and were talking about a 2 year contract not a 8 year one. Id go there if i really wanted a cup and thought i was talented and hard working enough to de throne some of their 3rd or 2nd line players.
That said its annoying how much this white Lebron James, with no professional games played, has been in the hockey press lately. Just let it die already. He's a 2nd tier prospect, not even 1st overall picks get this much coverage, write about something else already. |

And then in two years he would be traded at the draft cause they can't afford to resign him |

What? A twenty three year old cutting it up in a league with 18 - 22
year olds who haven't made the NHL?

After winning the Stanley Cup.... again.... while the Loafs continue to wallow in misery. |

yes - Ross77
Oh.
Well I'll take the opinion of many scouts calling him a top 6 over a guy that has maybe seen him play once or twice on TV. |

There is nothing else.
I'm more interested in this than Vermette signing in Anaheim...or JC Lipon signing in Winnipeg. |

Well, it is true that Chicago has ALWAYS been a contender and have absolutely no idea what it's like to be wallowing in the basement of the league...
....at least for as long as you've been a fan |

He might be retired by the time those teams are relevant again. |

How in the hell did the Devils sneak into the discussion of teams that are on the rise?? They got Taylor Hall....... And???? NJ is far from building a contender right now or even in the next 2-4 years. |

Dosnt matter how old he is. Scouts are good at their job and every team wants a crack at him. He's a good prospect. |

Do you know where Chicago was 10 years ago? - Santo_44
Um, considering I was born and raised there, and have held season tix since 1985, I would say that yes, I am vaguely familiar.

how is boston ANYTHING but a team on the downswing. their core is all pretty old, not a lot of young talent, already fallen out of the playoffs........the other teams you mentioned are in their primes, boston is FULLY into their downswing but have not yet started the inevitable rebuild |
