And we got Pu in the following round....like it was meant to be.

I still can't believe that they passed on Pee Pee Peterson in the fourth round.

I know some don't like Kane but if we get to add Vesey as well, that makes us all the better if Vesey works out. Can never have to much fire power.

I'd move Kane to his off wing.

Worth a shot for sure

EDIT
I do think there will again be a quite a bit of switching players around to find who fits well with who and in what role

It's an interesting idea. Since Kane likes to shoot so much if someone fed him the puck down the right side and he just gunned it some are bound to go in right? And since you want 3 scoring lines why not a 3rd line of Foligno-Girgs-Kane. That line could be a pain in the ass to play against.

Pain for sure
But can Girgs or Foligno be good enough to feed Kane the puck?
I don't really see either of them as "playmakers"
Put Ennis or Nylander on that line?

They would be great in the corners and on the forecheck. Just dump it in and create havoc, get the D on their toes and cough it up. The problem with that is that who plays LW with ROR and Okposo? Ennis maybe?

Vermette has had offers from 5 teams and will announce tomoorow who he plays for.

Vesey not expected to decide till Thursday-Friday.

That's your 'V' update...

I agree with your assessment...
But would they score?

I fear with the lack of a playmaker, that group would find a hard time putting the puck in the net

Maybe put Foligno or Girgensons with O'Reilly & Okposo?
Let him bang & create room for the other two
Then Ennis could be the playmaker on line 3

I like Girgs as our 3C. Ideally a Kane-ROR-Okposo line would be a pain to play against. A Girgs-Moulson-Ennis line would be ok as the 3rd line and keep Foligno-Larsson-Gionta together as the 4th and D-Lo as the extra forward. It also keeps Bailey in Rochester.

Bylsma also has the option of moving guys around so maybe in the course of a game he feels the need to put Foligno-Girgs-Kane together to stir it up, get the forecheck going, create turnovers.

Agreed Ion. It will come to an end this week. And then watch Murray do a few things.

He's probably a decent 3C for some team looking for depth or adding to their cap.

I could see all that happening
My "3 scoring lines" idea might be a year away from being realistic
Replace Moulson with Nylander & I like that line a lot better

I think he's kinda like Legwand at this point
He could be an ok 3rd liner,
But more suited to be a good 4th liner at this point

Probably "plan b" for those who miss on Vesey
I'd be cool if we signed him or Pirri...
Or both!
