You know what trades I mean. And I don't know why it's ridiculous to think I could be an NHL GM - it's a relatively easy job. You just assign people to get you information and you surround yourself with intelligent people.

Hire a cap expert, a game theory expert, a lead mathematician, an old school hockey guy, a communication expert and a critical thinking expert. You sit around the table and make fun of Peter Chiarelli until he sends you his best player for a box of day old doughnuts and then you drive home in your limo. Easy-peasy.

Couldn't disagree more. Lost was a work of art, not a democratic exercise in giving the audience what it wants. If you want to be rewarded for watching, Katherine Heigle and Auston Kucher make some pretty saccharine movies.

I hate this idea that Lost owed something to its audience that it didn't deliver on.

Lost...was lost when they took the big break in between seasons.

It was ok...not sure it was a work of art, but I didn't mind the 1st couple seasons.

Jimmy Vessey can sign with a team next week, thus ending one of the most ridiculous phases in NHL history. I get that the summer is quiet and you have to do all you can to get some content out, but there are literally five blogs per day on where the kid might sign.

Lost was quite good...until it become a phenomenon and the writers scrambled to extend their story by 2-3 seasons to cash in. Then it "lost" all continuity and then tried to make sense of all the ridiculous twists and turns. Greed kills.

Leafs won't be a bad team at all. They likely aren't good enough to compete but not bad enough for a great draft pick. Partly why I think they should trade Leo and JVR. But fact is, Matthews, Nylander and Kadri make a pretty sick lineup down the middle and Gardiner, Rielly Carrick and Marincin make a decent top four with Anderson in net I don't see them being a bad team. Especially with Babcock.

Future C's look great...but they are not going to be world beaters this year...by the sounds of it Nylander will be playing wing....Rielly still young and could use a real good partner...Carrick's unknown...Marincin played well on 3rd pair but his #'s started to drop as soon as he was paired with Rielly...Gardiner's ok....lets see how he looks again this year under Babs and if he'll trust him to play #1/2 mins. ( I don't see it myself ) Next year we should start to see some improvement in the standings and a playoffs shot...this year no playoffs and a chance at a bottom 5 for sure. IMO ( but I'd love to see them make the playoffs and have you be right for a change haha )

Wait until the olympics does its best to ruin skateboarding, the one thing I might love more than hockey. I believe skateboarding should be on tv all the time but it's not something that was ever meant to be judged.
