He is a center. And overrated. Started off season good and then finished like poop. Next season will show is true colors because he will not have Dats protecting him and team is just not that good anymore. I will be shocked if he tops 45 points. - hanleyaj
That's odd considering he played the wing all season and didn't play with Datsyuk at all. |

Yeah he does. Right after London chokes in the 1st round of the OHL playoffs he can join the Marlies. |

So what I'm getting from your previous posts, Larkin is over rated at 45 points, Reinhart is easily top 5 at 42 points? - Mr.Bobby
Reinhart started on fourth line and worked his way up to top six. Larkin started with superstars and was on fire in first 20 games.
If we look at last 20 games of the season when Reinhart played with eichel and girgensons he had 14 points. Larkin had 6 points in the last 20 games.
Reinhart was one of the best defensive players on the sabres. Larkin was not very dependable on the defensive side but in his defense not many 20 year olds are able to play sound defense in nhl. Reinhart is just so smart he was able to make the right pass and be in the right spot. |

Yeah, I expect him on a line with JvR and Bozak getting favourable match-ups. Komarov-Kadri-Brown will take the tougher assignments. |

When i say he protected him i mean dats played against the top line and took the defensive faceoffs. Just like O'Reilly did for Eichel. Also next season he will be center for all 82 games and have to play in all situations because they dont have a guy to protect him. Detriot doesnt have better option at center then him. |

Yeah, but I expect it'll come down to which zone they start in. Marner will be protected more in that regard - I doubt you'll see him get many DZone starts. |

Dont start TRO. fan you have no leg to stand on. GO tank for another season and then go to the media and say they did it with grace and did not tank at all.
Also
Eichel>Mathews
Reinhar>Marner
O'Reilly>Nylander
Okoposo>JVR
Kane>kadri
Risto>Rielly
Buffalo much better then Tro. |

It's good to know a guy can be a protected second line centre and only have to take 100 face-offs! What a bargain! |
