He caught some people's attention, but most people fail to recognize that he scored at a 40 point pace for the last 50 games of the season.

Which is progression from the season before, admittedly, but mostly because he completely stunk up the joint that year.

IMO the only better players than Larkin drafted in 2014 are Ekblad and Draisaitl. And it's way too soon to say that as a matter of fact considering that only 17 players from that draft year have even played in the NHL.

Draisaitl, to me, looks to be an elite PPG two-way forward for a long time starting soon. Not unlike a giant Pavel Datsyuk with less highlight reel stuff obvi.

Edit: Edmonton was my second favorite team until they traded Taylor Hall.
