yeah i would likely take buffalo over winnipeg... and yeah i have been to both cities

i mean... winnipeg... closest major city to it? regina? saskatoon? thunder bay? all of which are lengthy drives

buffalo has the city of new york right on its doorstep... and just because a plyer plays in a city doesnt mean he lives there in the offseason as well

I think the city they play in becomes considerably more important to them when they get married. It's the wives that have to spend nearly all their time in the city. Even during the season, these guys are only there half the time.

I've been fortunate to travel a LOT in my life. I've seen a lot of nice cities, and some that leave quite a bit to be desired. It's pretty clear which I feel Buffalo falls into. I'll leave it at that.

When you have a modus operandi (that's Latin for method of operation) of gooning other teams, Chara, Backes, McQuaid, Kelly and Marchand to name a few - then you will see a lot complaining by your terrific coach. BTW - not many successful teams currently employ this philosophy.
