Don't get me wrong, I buy the fact that his kid just got drafted, and that he owns the restaurant in Windsor, but the rest is just so.... implausible. It doesn't fit. There's no evidence to back it up. We have hockey records going back decades available online, and there's not a single thing that suggests that anybody with his name has ever been affiliated with the Wings. I mean, people make fun of the whole "doc" thing with me, but I know that anybody who knows my name can figure it out with a quick google search...

Yeah I'd say you are right Nippleton...good haul by the Jays, but two things were

working here. Pirates saved about 11M in salary (Liriano makes 13M thru 2017),

and the prospects are decent(especially C Reese) but they were going nowhere in

the Pirates deep system (minor & major). We are deep at catcher & outfielders

Nah, I buy him on that. I just don't think that he's a particularly smart or eloquent individual. Every year, many stupid people manage to successfully avoid becoming a part of the Darwin awards, and I think that he has just managed that successfully so far...
