Can't pass on Vesey. While I know the hype is ridiculous, the risk-reward is far too great to pass. And Vermette can play wing. I don't want Hayes in the top 9. And I don't see Julien playing Griffith up there. Unless they put Nash in on the third line, but I believe he is predominantly a Center as well

I'll pass on Vermette and reserve judgement on Vesey. Kid hasn't even sniffed the pro's. Maybe it's a bit "get off my lawn" but I'm not a fan of kids who pull this stuff. I get that it is legal per the CBA but I don't have to like it. So... I don't (frank)ing like it or him.

Pull what kind of stuff? He's exercising his rights. Why not finish your schooling, pick where you want to play, and get a big contract a year sooner. Brilliant if you ask me. And he has the talent to back it up

I respect your opinion and see where you're coming from; I don't even like people that I like on my lawn.

But I would be afraid of him acting like a Drouin or something, or holding out for higher pay and that stuff. However idk him personally. Maybe he really just hates country music and doesn't wanna live in Nashville.

I'm mostly hoping he signs so that Don doesn't do a different more regrettable contract out of frustration or something. They need another winger after letting ferraro, kelly, and Connolly go. Plus Hayes needs to stay the F away from that top 9.

I. Hate. Him.
I refuse to even score goals with him on PlayStation

I mentioned that in my comment dude. Not repeating it. If kids pull this, whats the point of the draft?

it's a collectively bargained right for NCAA players in the CBA. this doesn't happen that often.

Yes yes I get that. I stated it already. I've mentioned it now, twice. I guess one more person needs to (frank)ing tell me what I already know?!

From the teams points of view its a waste of a draft pick. I think it's poopty. I think the kids who do it are poopty. Some people apparently don't. Life goes on.

Just because it's his right, doesn't mean it's the right thing to do or you should exercise it. It's an F you to the team. Especially the way vesey did it. Telling them he will sign, and then doesn't. Basically left them without the opportunity to trade him for anything worthwhile.
