This is wear not knowing the geography of an area makes you look foolish

The move to queens would benefit him bcs its closer of a drive then brooklyn. Specifically where they wont to move to in queens is very close to wear he lives in garden city.

I doubt he cares about moving when its closer for him

- Flexingtheshaft

I had assumed that the players would gradually move to NYC once the team located to Brooklyn - is this not happening?

I've literally posted "I don't see why Stamkos would go from a team contending now to a team like the Leafs who will be 3-4 years away from competition. Stamkos was patient for his entire career in Tampa and now that he's in his prime and Tampa are for real, why would he go backwards to a team like the Leafs?" and got banned for 2 days
- rangerdanger94

I agree that is harsh. Maybe things have changed. Generally if you shoot the poop in a pleasant way there the mods are cool.

Serious question: are the islanders still paying that phenom Rick Dipietro or is that done now? I just looked on the cap geek and all I could find was Yashins contract.....just wondering.

But in all seriousness....,Kulemin and Grabovski were 2 awesome signings.....ok I'm done. Good night.

Yeah, but how did that David Clarkson to a seven year $40+M deal turn out?...

Yeah, apparently leafs fans are like the seals at San Francisco piers. They jump in, make a whole bunch of noise, crap on everything, hang around for a little while, then go away. But they're fun to watch for a little while. At least we know that they're just a joking bunch, and not one of them is serious.

I think I read he moved for a year or 2 as a young teen close to Toronto to play in better youth leagues w kids 3/4 years older than him.

generally speaking, people from outside toronto aren't supporters of the city itself...

Doesn't seem like it. A lot of them live in Garden City, which is right near where the Coliseum was. Boychuk recently bought a lot with a historical house on it and is tearing it down to build a brand new place. Practice rink and Isles headquarters are still located on the Island.

I'd imagine that Brooklyn isn't a place a lot of these young guys and their wives want to raise their kids.

Getting trolled by Islanders fans, that's a first. You guys just lost your 2nd and 3rd highest scorers from last season for nothing. Then replaced them with Parenteau and Chimera. I'd maybe focus more on what direction you're headed, Leafs will be just fine.

You refering to okposo? Guy who has an eye condition that can come back whenever and sideline him. What will we do witjout his toe drag into the slot move

Okay losing frans hurt defensivley but it opens up a spot for one of our prospects dal colle barzal ho sang

Also have fun with martin. His 5 goals 6 assists should help with the playoff run. Also all the odd man rushes he causes when he makes a stupid hit and takes himself out of the play should really test that deep D core you got

Martin will stand up for mathews though

It didn't turn out well but in case you didn't hear the Leafs traded that contract for Nathan Horton who is on the LTIR, therefore there is no cap hit to the Leafs

Just fine, actually.

MLSEL paid for the problem to go away.

It's sad that with so much to troll Toronto fans about, your attempt failed.

Noel,.... No need to be a hater.

Fans get banned for talking smack. What happens to bloggers for hating a fan base?

Not being funny.

- 50 Mission Cap

Its not hating on a fanbase. Its hating on a media that has for the past seven years conjured out of thin air BS stories about JT hating being an Islander and wanting out at first chance he gets to head to TOR. Go back and look at the stories that were written over the past seven years by TOR hockey writers. They were starting in even before the draft, floating BS, unsupported stories that JT wouldn't report if drafted. Then after he did, they said he'd leave after his entry level deal expired. When he signed a six year extension, now they're suggesting that because the team plays in Brooklyn and the ice was bumpy in year one in that rink that he's headed out the door as well. JT has had to address those BS stories and rumors consistently since before he was drafted. How many times will it take for JT to show by actions, not words, that he's not unhappy with the Isles and there is no desire to cut out on them?

Yeah, but how do you feel about the grabvoski and kulemin contracts coming off the books just in time for the boychuck and ladd contracts to start sucking?
