I'm pretty sure the Leafs would have done some serious damage if they made the playoffs last year. The mistake was to build the team for the playoffs - you gotta get there first!

We'll see. The section has, in my mind, never been weaker. Aside from Tampa, there's not one team that scares me.

I'll take our goaltending and coaching ahead of the Panthers any day of the week.

They have more depth on the wings and better scorers but I prefer our group down the middle.

Ekblad is light years better than any of our defensemen. However, I'd take Chara ahead of any of their other D. That defense is not built to succeed in the playoffs. They got rid of all their physicality.

Well considering both Petrovic and Demers will get about 100 PIM if they are healthy all 82 games, and one is 6'4 and the other plays like it, I'd say they will be somewhat physical!
