Is "this guy" still around?

I totally get that and I agree. There's nothing more frustrating than a rebuild/retool with no direction. I currently feel like my team is doing just that and I know you all know the feeling. They're doing everything right and 3 or 4 years from now watch out.

I would just be annoyed over I guess you could call it the spilled milk of previous regimes. There's nothing you can do, but I'd still feel slighted and a little frustrated regardless of whether the teams current direction and management are so far and beyond what they had prior.

Definitely with you there. It sucks when it's not years of mistakes, but eras.

Subban and weber are apples and oranges. Accept the orange has been peeled and has been left out on the counter too long while the apple is ripe.

I do think the Bruins are better. Panthers might do better during the regular season but they wouldn't beat us in the playoffs. Rowe has built a defense that will succeed in the regular season.

I'll take our goaltending and coaching ahead of the Panthers any day of the week.

They have more depth on the wings and better scorers but I prefer our group down the middle.

Ekblad is light years better than any of our defensemen. However, I'd take Chara ahead of any of their other D. That defense is not built to succeed in the playoffs. They got rid of all their physicality.

I bet you we don't find out if that's correct this season.

We'll see. The section has, in my mind, never been weaker. Aside from Tampa, there's not one team that scares me.

If by better you mean older and slower in a faster NHL then

Bruins aren't better. And one of these years...might be this one....two things are going to happen: Chara will be done and that will expose Rask's lack of mental fortitude.
