Sign. Matthews. Please. - Soshnikov
Lou is a dinosaur. It will get done, not worried about it but Lou just pissed me off. Not that confident in what the team is doing while he is in charge. |

Montreal and Ottawa should be on this list, however, Boston should not.
Boston has just had, according to experts, two very solid drafts. We are now in the top 5 in terms of prospects. We have incredible depth down the middle, have a top 5 goaltender and possess quality scoring wingers. While I recognize the need to add defensemen, Chara-Krug are a solid 1-2 punch. We have good 4-6 defensemen. I feel that we are one good defenseman away from being a force. I am positive that Sweeney will add one before the season starts. |

Ok so they will better 5 years from now but next year they will be worse than last year...which is trending down just as much as the Leafs are trending up. |

Missed the playoffs two years in a row and have the same defense core as last season.
We replaced a finesse 30 goal scorer with a beast hard nosed 20 goal scorer.
Chara is a year older, Liles replaces Seidenberg......a wash to slight upgrade.
Krejci is coming off a major hip surgery and Krug is coming off a major shoulder surgery and it could effect there start of the season.
So how would anyone think making the playoffs this season is a better bet than last season?
If anything they are the same as last year......could be a little better, could be a little worse.
If anything missing the playoffs twice and then sneaking into the playoffs is a down trend from a Cup, Cup finals and Pres trophy......wouldn't it? |

They won't be worse next year. They are a playoff team no doubt. Have you had a look at the Atlantic division teams lately? |

So still blind to the Subban trade are you? You traded your lone superstar for a defenseman that most experts agree is no best than a 2nd defenseman at this point. |

Way to only name the negatives. Have you forgotten about Pastrnak? Have you forgotten about Marchand, Bergeron, Rask or the big strides that Kevan Miller took? Backes makes our center depth the best in the section. Wouldn't be surprised to see a couple of our prospects step in and surprise people.
