I'm a Yankee fan, but that Piazza homer in the first game after 9/11 was unreal.
My cousin's husband was at the game and he said you could literally feel Shea Stadium shaking when the crowd erupted. - eichiefs9
That was a great moment. I went to the 2nd game of that series, Mets won like 11-3, pulled within a game & half of the Braves. Next game they were 1 out from a sweep & pulling to half a game back but Benitez blew the save & the Mets tail spinned after that.
Bush throwing out the first pitch at Yankee Stadium for Game 3 was a awesome moment. He threw a strike to right down the middle & the crowd went nuts w USA chants. Still can't believe that's been 15 years now. |

Another funny story kind of around that same time was the Rangers played the Isles at the Moz for a exhibition game & there was a real great moment at Center Ice with both teams coming together after the Anthem & raising their sticks to the crowd in a NY "stands together" moment. Then about 2 minutes into the game McCarthy, Fleury go at it with Cairns, Webb * almost a line brawl. LOL, that come together moment ended quickly. |

Well, there will always be speculation about a lot of the "actual facts" that go along with the "official" story. I'm not crazy enough to believe like some do that Bush/Cheyney & their cronies had a hand in it, but some things will always be up for debate, mostly around smaller details like what actually happened to the Flight 93 that went down in Pennsylvania....uh oh, here we go again.... - B2B76

Considering I was in 5th grade at the time, that'd be difficult.
Presently, I'm fair game. - tomburton99

I thought it could only be worn by a Boyle. Unfortunately the Wolfpack might be the only place it is seen on the ice. |

I assume Holden is going to be the 7th D-man. He'll get a spot start somewhere along the line. |
