I doubt Benning is going to lose another RFA to waivers ala Corrado. I think they could be moved soon unless they are keeping Pedan as a 7 th.

Pedan Biega Grenier all would need to clear waivers . We know the Leafs would claim all three and have Pedan and Biega as their second pair D and Grenier as their top 6 .

I also think Pedan is more likely to be claimed out of the two of them but I think the impact of losing Biega would be more detrimental to this team's goal.

Oh yeah you can't expose Pedan. Biega's contract was a reward for his work as the captain in Utica, his contract is designed to keep him from being claimed.

I think if someone picked up Biega Canucks would be happy that he is rewarded. I don't think they would be happy to lose Pedan for nothing.

I hear what you are saying but I think there are a lot of question marks with our Defense still and they will want some of that stability that Biega brings.

I also don't think they are as high on Pedan as they were earlier in his career. I can't see them being that upset losing him either.

If a team claims him they wouldn't be able to send the player down and save that additional money without Van or some other team getting to claim him.
