Other than the bar incident , he flashed a wad of money in a picture and after that I am not sure what else he did.

He grabbed a woman by the throat and fondled another apparently. Doesn't look too good if the former is true - grabbing someone' boobage is one thing, but reacting violently to someone (in particular a woman), that is a much more serious issue

I agree he's a total bum hole. I would hope he has a good year and is moved for a few nice pieces at the deadline. If we get VZ then there could be a scenario where he's moved before the opener.

I care about the off ice stuff. Character is extremely important. Regardless of what some think being a quality person is more important than a stupid game. This is where society as a whole is going wrong. Shane Doan is a perfect example about being a good person. We don't have to look farther than our best players about what being a quality person is all about.

Fair enough, but the idea isn't to replace Baertschi, it's to give him support until he's fully ready to take on the 2nd line LW role. Those guys have experience playing in the top six, but if Baertschi kills it in camp then it's easy to slot them in on the third line and 1-2 years later theyre replaced by a young player.

The whole point is to not have to give up any depth, if people really want to get a legit 2nd line LW then I think you have to be prepared to lose a guy like Tanev, a really good prospect or high pick. To me, those are things the Canucks can't afford to do while rebuilding on the fly.

I also agree with the poster that at least he's not that marchand weasel. I cringed every time his name was said on team canada even. Id easily take Kanes off ice crap over marchands weasel crap on the ice any day.

I am starting to think Yzerman is totally inept. 8.5 million left Kucherov and 3 others still not signed. Next summer Tyler Johnson, Ondrej Palat and Ben Bishop. Me thinks they go for one more shot at the cup and then its time to break up the core. I can't see them getting them all signed with the massive signings that have gone on recently.

71% of you guys want Kane . Didn't expect that. Not sure what is fair value for Kane at this point but I would think a roster player and a prospect might be fair. Further, I think he stays a sabre for the foreseeable future. Maybe he'll be a TD move.

Bishop will be traded. sometime between now and expansion draft. that helps a lot. but Stevie Y has his wrk cut out for him. Kucherov is going nowhere.
