: Biega also - VANTEL
We wil see who comes to camp poised to take a spot. We haven't had this many options on the back end in a while or ever. |

I even think they would take Stecher over Subban |

I would just go with Baertschi over any of them - VANTEL
Fair enough, but the idea isn't to replace Baertschi, it's to give him support until he's fully ready to take on the 2nd line LW role. Those guys have experience playing in the top six, but if Baertschi kills it in camp then it's easy to slot them in on the third line and 1-2 years later theyre replaced by a young player.
The whole point is to not have to give up any depth, if people really want to get a legit 2nd line LW then I think you have to be prepared to lose a guy like Tanev, a really good prospect or high pick. To me, those are things the Canucks can't afford to do while rebuilding on the fly. |

None of those guys will bring what we need so we may as well just continue as is. |

I might have missed the one on CA, just saw the rundown on him after he was drafted.
and saw this one on development camp.

I read this two weeks ago. It was a shining report. This is why I am excited to see how Comets do.
Lots of potential . Benning is doing some very good things for this club , but really takes a beating. |

It was a lazy evaluation of the top 10.
I honestly don't see Subban ever in the regular roster here and I never see Tryamkin being on a roster spot on the Comets - VANTEL
Agree.
People have to get past his last name. |

Is Larsen a offensive talent like Subban? - thundachunk
I'd rank him much higher offensively than Subban. |

1040 always comes across to me like they want to see someone fired. and if someone gets fired it is like justification for all the abuse. and when those people visit the show they kiss their asses as if nothing was ever said. |

I'd have to see a Hall like return to trade Tanev, even with the oiler getting bent over RHD are at a premium.
I would also call Hall a superstar LW not a 2nd line LW.
So if Kane is 2LW the ask would be much, much, much lower then Tanev and a pick/prospect.
I would do a Sbisa, Hanson, Etem for Kane and a third.
Or, don't shoot me for this, Hutton and Subban for Kane and a third. |

71% of you guys want Kane . Didn't expect that. Not sure what is fair value for Kane at this point but I would think a roster player and a prospect might be fair. Further, I think he stays a sabre for the foreseeable future. Maybe he'll be a TD move. |

I think if I am losing a prospect I go after Drouin. I know we are full up the right side but Kucherov could be had as well. TBay doesn't have much space left. |

He is a hometown boy so its not surprising at all. I think he is a great player but he is also a scum bag. He needs to get his $hit together. |

That makes sense and I think it will be really interesting to see how the ice time is divided between those two as they have similar offensive abilities on paper.
Stetcher should be better as he is older and is transition from a more mature and better league. But Subban had an excellent rookie season and expecting any first year player regardless of where they are coming from is a good route to disappointment .
As far as my list, most those guys on the list I haven't seen play but I would of had Zalewski in that top 10 for sure. I feel like Brisbois is Dubois to be so high comparing his CHL accomplishments to others he beat out. |

I agree he's a total bum hole. I would hope he has a good year and is moved for a few nice pieces at the deadline. If we get VZ then there could be a scenario where he's moved before the opener. |

Zalewski is a glue player. Nothing flashy , goes out and leads by example. He gives an honest effort and puts up acceptable points. He does whatever is asked. Sounds like Burrows |

Depends on how much MNGT thinks he is an issue there. If he is as bad as we all think and he is a locker room issue PLUS the off-ice stuff then you have to basically move him on the cheap. Sbisa and maybe Gaunce is what Kane is worth to remove the problem from Buffalo. If you are looking for a third player ain't gonna happen. |

I would like to see Belchers top 20 list. He follows the team quite a bit. I think it would be pretty accurate. - VANTEL
Belcher would have our 2018 2nd round pick as our top prospect |

The thing about the sexual assault ( grabbing girls at the bar is one thing) . I am not defending him but he was drunk grabbed a girls boob. Not good.
I also think Ron MacLean should have been charged for taking his shirt off in public.
Other than the bar incident , he flashed a wad of money in a picture and after that I am not sure what else he did.
The bar thing is a huge mistake but if some one can fill me in on all the other bad things he did I would like to know.? |

I think the real question is do Buffalo need or even have room for Sziba and once they sign Rasmus the answer is a hard no on all levels, cap wise, need and actual space on the roster - so I can wager a large bet that that deal is not gonna happen and we can all stop talking about it now. |
