Just netflix and interweb. I have lived in the same house for almost 10 years and I asked shaw to fix the poor connection on my street every year and they haven't done f@ck all about the poor connection so I refuse to pay them when they talk about improving service and prices go up and they still don't do f@ck all. Personally I blame Vantel. If they ever do fiber optic on my street I will switch to anything but Shaw.

What ifs? Not really - more fact based actually. You never really pointed out what the exact "IFS" you speak of are. That our youth won't improve? That our D isn't better? That we won't have injuries? I admit thats a "what if" & thats why I acknowledged it in my argument - yes it is possible but even with injuries I'd argue we have more depth on the team and we could deal with the problems easier this season than last.

I see you're a Flames fan.....so take your team for example, Gaudreau, Monahan, Hamilton, Frolik(altho missing 20 games), Colbourne, Brodie, Ferland, Bennett - your youth - all trended upwards and showed progressions....so why wouldn't/can't our youth show similar improvement?

BTW - Its ok to admit you're wrong.

I know ASL says no major trade will happen this year but this is why I say one will.

There is a lot of what ifs , I see his point. But he is arguing for the sake of arguing.

Here is an example I see.

If Hansen goes out and becomes a twenty goal scorer again ? If he doesn't and goes back to the norm its 16 . That is a huge if .Sarcasm

If Bo can score twenty? He scored 17 and sucked the first half.

The things you listed are basically If the Canucks just go out and have a normal year, but he wants to challenge you on your ifs.

Just how much risk are we willing to take if we get this guy? and who would be going back the other way? I'm not sure you want to polarize the fan base by taking on a reclamation project but it would certainly help our on-ice issues (seeing Kane is a LW)

If Benning can get him at a reasonable cost, considering his inflated salary, he's worth the risk IMO.

I disagree. Off ice issues always make there way on to the ice and into the locker room. Example. His last and current team. We are not a rehab project.
