I am of a similar opnion. although I do not agree with this, I have a feeling the team will continue to make horrible trades for short term fixes in an effort to win a cup while Hank can still play... then once he finally moves on, we will have to do a FULL rebuild. with nothing left to build with.... hopefully I am wrong though and our youth takes us to another level soon.

I just see so many options out there to make this team better and am puzzled at why we haven't done a single thing. Nash should have been dealt, Anaheim was rumored to be interested and could possibly be on his 12 list team. I'm sure you could get one of Silfverberg or Rakell in return when they are in desperate need of scoring and Perry, Kesler and Getzlaf all over 30. A 2 year run would be appealing to then I would imagine.

Like RD said it really is useless unless you have a benchmark. For all we know this just means he went from bag of sh1t to semi awful

That kind of stat sheet is what the agent will use to hike Kreider's price up, having set career highs. Well, it is out of our hands, but that won't stop TPC from wringing his.

TPC just printed that out and used it instead of his sock.

Please take our bloated under-performing contracts and give us your stars in exchange. Sure would be nice, but it ain't happening.

Must have been confirmation bias.

I try to read 1 a month to make sure I'm still sane.

Good one today was George Mcphee was a bad GM because he drafted Ovie and then just rode his coattails.

Silfverberg has never had 40 points and is 24, wouldn't call him a star. Rakell is slightly better but neither I would call a star. My point is ANA has the cap space and have to be thinking with Perry Kesler Getzlaf all 31 or 30 the thought of adding a 32 year old Nash a season removed from a 40 goal season for 2 more years at a crack of the cup would be appeasing. Their top 6 scorers had 34 21 20 20 13 10 goals. They need help scoring.

So do we, that's why we keep Ricky for his rebound year. If it doesn't work out, try to move him at the deadline to the Ducks or some other team that has cap room.

I'll have to read that one. His writing is so infuriating sometimes that I can't take it. Small doses...

If we are going to deal with a western team lets do it with some balls. Hank, Staal & Kreider for Shattenkirk, Tarasenko and Schwartz.

That's a deal for Ryan Murphy, just saying it'd be nice for Mcilrath to get something similar.

I think StL just went all in on Jake Allen. If you're going to go nuts and deal Hank to the west Dallas is the place...assuming he would agree to go.
