You kids and your crazy stats.
Back in my day the only stats that mattered were goals/assists/points and the all mighty +/- |

It'd be nice for Canadian Citizen's if they didn't constantly butcher the Canadian national anthem. |

The thing is Gardiner is one of the only dmen on the team that can exit the zone cleanly and he does it pretty consistently. He makes more stupid decisions than you'd want but his overall impact is pretty positive.
But oh no, he doesn't score! He doesn't out muscle people in his own end! What a bum. Rielly is the only guy that is probably better but he faced tougher competition so he looked worse on a lot of nights. |

#Pens re-sign defenseman Justin Schultz to 1-year, $1.4 million contract.
Kinda wish we would've taken a shot at him for that kind of cash. Gardiner/Schultz pairing could've been great (or spectacularly bad, entertaining at the very least!). |

not chirping, just asking a question. I hope for you guys he turns out to be the #1 the Leafs are looking for - Symba007

Gardiner is terrible in his own end and mediocre in the opponents. Recipe for success. |

cut out at least 1 to 2 goals per game and the possibilities are endless.

True, but Gardiner has about 8 of these a night and thankfully most don't actually go in. Unless Softnier is out there. |
