still think Andersen will save the day? - Symba007
Yeah, I do
He's a lot better than Bernier
and once smaller pads are implemented, the bigger goalies are going to be generally better than the smaller guys, I think. |

They were able to keep most games pretty close last year, while being fairly low-scoring.

Save?
He's a good piece to add to this team. He's a number 1 goalie. Something we haven't had for years. Big goalies>small goalies. |

even the best netminders need help, push guys to the outside, reduce 2nd and 3rd scoring opportunities. |

They have the potential to surprise but that's the thing, it'll be a surprise to nearly everyone if they're solid defensively. Will Gardiner be as good as he was last year? Is Zaitsev an NHL quality defenseman? Can Rielly keep improving? etc. Lots of question marks. |

Managment has a lot of faith in him obviously. He will fit in babs system. He's shown he is a good goalie. He has shown he can be a starter in the regular season and playoffs.
Also, my good friend of mine is a Ducks Fan he was sad to see Anderson go. He thought he will be even better than Gibson. But with Gibson being younger and having a good contract it was the obvious move. He just didn't want him going to Toronto because he hates the Leafs |

Because he played as a #1 in Anaheim for the last few years, and has decent numbers?
How else do you determine a #1? |

He was part of a tandem in Anaheim... and had a much better team in front of him.
He's obviously full of promises and hopefully turn out great but it's not a sure thing yet imo.
