It's partially because Garf's blog is a troll magnet, and mostly because the content is often ridiculous.

I would have loved to read that email...I imagine it went something like this:

"Quick question, but will Jimmy be coming to Bufalo anetime son? We love too have slick, power forward capable of puting up 100-115 pts. I've heard he Jack Eichel's friend? He play on Eichel line if come to Buffalo."

Or that his material is laughable and that's why the trolls come...can't say I blame them. For example, Michael never tosses around ridiculous trade proposals, nor does he use stupid hockey lingo that makes him sound like a wanna-be hockey player.

You get the company you usually deserve. Garth's blogs are usually filled with garbage, so what kind of comments are you expecting?

His first blog after the signing was they just got a 30+ goal scorer for half of Stamkos. He followed that up with a guy that can get 80-90 points.

Okposo never scored 30 or 70 points, and that is with given ever opportunity to play with one of the best players in the league. Not to mention he is making Okposo out to be the prototypical power forward, which anyone who has actually watched him play, can tell you that it is not the case.

When you write the above, what kind of comments do you think you are going to get?

You got a very good secondary scorer. Be happy with that. If you are going to hope for anything, hope he doesn't become the next Matt Moulson. Don't try to convince people you just sign a top 5 winger in the league, and possible future MVP, because that is what 30+ goals and 90 points is in todays NHL.

I understand but just coming in here to complain is more of a joke. Not once do i just go to another blog of another team just to whine about how bad an article is. I just simply dont care what other teams talk about. Im interested in the sabres. Not the islander not the leafs or any other team. i i understand hes a homer and a dreamer with bad grammer. But to keep harping on it all the time makes no sence. If their only way to release energy is to come in here and talk crap to someone who wont talk back is rediculous.but i guess that makes them feel good about them selves.
