Word is Shatty said no to an extension to EDM, so pretty much close the book on them I think

I am good with the Allen extension. I preferred him to Elliott last year, wasn't sure about either in the playoffs. Still unsure about Allen as historically he hasn't been good in playoffs at pretty much every level, but he hasn't had much time in the NHL playoffs so hopefully he can get past that.

Ok with Backes leaving as 5 years, 6 per is too much.

Would have rather just went a little more than Perron and just signed Brouwer. Even if it is 2 more years.

I hope there are some more moves as the Blues are not as good today as they were last year.

Schwartz just got some more leverage IMO with Backes and Brouwer both leaving. We really need to sign him now or move him for a forward.
