Jones best years on a very competitive Nashville team only posted 25 and 27 point campaigns. He had a good year this year between two teams and 31 points.

Rasmus jumped from 20 pts last year in his first full year on the worst finishing team to 41 pts this year on the 8th worst.

We also know that Ristolainen was top 10 in ice time for all defensemen in the NHL and faced every team's top talent each night. Same cannot be said for Jones.

I honestly think CJB overpaid for Jones at 5.4M or that we are in trouble for how much Risto could actually cost at market value and that is why it is taking longer to sign him.
