I wanted him but not for 7 years. He turns 30 before the season starts. He will slow down by the end of that contract.

If Ennis, Moulson and Girgs remember how to play hockey and Lehner stays on the ice I think we have a good chance at playoffs.

I worry a bit that should the Sabres not get Stamkos they will be to far behind other teams on the other top tier free agents...

I would've expected to hear of some teams being told they are out on the Stamkos race by now but that doesn't appear to be the case...

I think these other UFAs have ot understand the pecking order as well. They have to understand that Stamkos is the biggest fish here and that ohter teams will come calling after that one is caught.

IMO... Eriksson is hands down the best UFA on the market besides Stamkos to help a team's top 6.

I'd sign him to a 4x5 in my sleep.
