I am not sure either one of those is accurate at this point.

Nash could still be in the league and Girgensons could not.

Nash had a bad year last year no doubt.

Girgensons had an even worse year.

And why would you GIVE the NYR ANYTHING for that favor?
unless they retain the max salary they can, and then it's still a pick and a prospect or may be foligno, girgs or Larsson.
