Girgensons is a 1st round draft pick and Fasching was what? A 4th rounder? Having a big body doesn't make you a better player. I'm not saying not to trade Girgensons. I would certainly consider it if he was a piece to land a guy like Faulk or Shattenkirk, but people are acting like he is Ville Leino.

Well from what I was told they are ready to go 10-11 a year and now are ready to go 12 if they have to. The talk regarding Stamkos is within the Sabres brass only, no mention of him will be talked about outside of the Sabres brass .

Don't know if we will get him but he is there priority.

If Buffalo goes to 12Mill on 7yr deal, that's the only way I can see him signing.

Edit: that is the reason I said it's not "definite" he signs in Toronto. Someone like Buffalo might throw stupid money his way.....that is a possibility.

That's why I didn't have conversations for MONTHS about why Nolan shouldn't be coach, right? You ever think that maybe the good years are the outliers and as soon as he had to play structured hockey he couldn't keep up? PP time, top 6 time, favorable situations. All of these things he's not going to get anymore that padded his stats. He's a 4th liner.
