I was born/raised in Oakville (outside Toronto) but I have been a huge Sabres fan my entire life. My Dad is from Fort Erie and we used to go across to the Aud all of the time and watch the French Connection. All of my high school, university buds were Leafs fan. We used to trash talk each other all the time about our teams. That's fair game. However, there is no need in trash talking about each other's cities, politicians, women, countries, health care etc. Let's stick to hockey.

I live in Milton currently. In the middle of Toronto and Buffalo with each being an hour and an hour and a half away respectively. Buffalo is not as bad as my fellow Canadian counterparts make it seem. Each city has their own respective dirty areas and great things to offer respectively. This website however is called "Hockeybuzz" the last time I thought so I agree with the quoted tweet above.

July 1st is relevant, because if he wants to sign with the team that owns his rights (Sabres), the signing can't be announced until July 1st. Nobody else can negotiate with him until Aug. 15.

I travelled to the states quite a few times after....until I paid for a Vegas trip a couple years ago and they wouldnt let me through.

( I was with the wife and neighbours - the neighbours were already through..they texted asking "where are you guys" lol I replied just go ahead...theyre like no serioiusly...where are you guys!!

I wasn't going to type all that out, but you get the point. Both of our teams are starting to look very evenly matched on paper, hopefully it transitions to the best hockey in the league.

it was a depressing ride back home

(frank)ers flew me from Ottawa to TO and then rejected me at customs...so I had to go back to the company that flew me there and beg for a flight back to Ottawa.
