Oh my. After the Bruins garbage draft last year, then the Celtics garbage draft last night, now one day later the Bruins reaching on Frederic at #29.....(frank) 'em

Seriously. (frank) Boston. I hope Brady is accused of necrophilia and is jailed in a cell with Aaron Hernandez

I know nothing about him but from just reading a bit seems that offensive output is his biggest question mark.

Flyers can defend and shut down top lines all they want, but someone will have to put the puck in the net.

Hope he does well, always exciting to add a new kid to the picture.

I love it. My order was rubstov, kunin, bellows and he drops 4 slots and picks up a high second and drafts him still??? I don't deserve this
- Just5

I do wonder if Hextall sees him as a potential Giroux replacement. Yeah, heady stuff, but for all the talk about being a two way guy and his defense, Rubtsov has been a pretty productive guy over his junior aged career.

I'm pumped. They got a really great prospect and they added the opportunity to really load up tomorrow and walk out a big winner

- Jordan Kyrou RW/C
- Janne Kuokkanen C/W
- Henrik Borgstrom C

Interesting that during his interview he states the Flyera were the team to scout and contact him the most.

They knew who they wanted I suppose. He does seem more "complete" than some of these other one dimensional types.

That was before the 36th pick. I liked Abramov and Dahlen definitely more than McKenzie's ranks, but they had them around there, so I put them on. Now with 36, there's guys like Benson, Katchouk, Laberge, DeBrincat.

I'm not exactly in love with the d in that range. The 3rd round is my money ticket for a D. But we also gave up a 3rd, so perhaps that changes things. Maybe Hronek for our later 2nds.

Dunno what you read, but he's got a lot of skill and offensive potential... and like your typical Russian forward, very gifted and assertive w/ the puck.

He, much like Coots, may never be the electric guy who does the flashy things to score. He will be the guy who does everything right in all 3-zone to allow his teammates to score, and do many underrated offensive plays himself. He has skill, no two ways about it, especially as a passer and thinker. I read that his junior team really shackled him with all the difficult assignments, so his point totals could be deceptive.

He has monster puck possession guy written all over him.

Think it was on that broadstreethockey website.

Curious to see how this whole 'coming to america' evolves. Said he tries to copy his game after Malkin and must improve in quickness. From that interview tonight.

I'm still on cloud 9. Hexy got one of my favorites (and I assume his) at 22, while picking up a 36 pick in the process. All so the Jets could take Logan Stanley.

Whatever bad things I've said about Stanley in the past, I take back. I now love him.

Bonus round: Keller went to Arizona, which is the next best option to not being a Flyer probably

I've heard the name uttered. I've heard Datsyuk. But those are pipe dreams. I think saying Couturier (who himself hasn't even reached his ceiling) or Frans Nielsen is more realistic. He may indeed be a 45-55 pt elite shutdown 2C.

He's a kid who could be a real wild card offensively though. There is untapped potential perhaps. All I know is that the IQ of our team, especially at center and defense, is approaching CERN institute level.

God particle.

We're apparently set in the shutdown department, so get some snipers tomorrow, Hexy.

Think along the lines of a more puck-savvy Travis Zajac. Just a really complete player who can contribute in so many ways.

He's the type of player that brings out the best in kids like Konecny. I'd like to see another dynamic type taken at 36. When he frees up all that space and has his line in the o-zone the entire time, he could use someone hungry to feeeeast.

Yeah, you want your centers to be steady and responsible so your wingers can go buck wild.

36. Debrincat,
48. Abramov,
52. Dahlen.

Get it done Hexy.
