Of all players selected in 1st, Rubtsov played the fewest games this past season, is that because of the drug scandal?

Benson would be a great pick in the second with our pick at 32. Unfortunately he had trouble with injuries last year but he is a great player. I think had he played a full season last year he would have been a guaranteed first rounder.

Given the emphasis on a 2-way center, I'd almost prefer a pure skilled winger or pure sniper at 36. Benson would be great, but he's more a character type with skill. I'd like someone who is just dynamic.

Monster 2-way centers. Highlight reel wingers. Yum.

Rubtsov is a great value pick at 22. Plus, they're going to get a guy at 36 that could well be as good or better as any of the last 4 or 5 names called tonight.

Would have loved to land Luke Kunin, but Hextall did work tonight.

I've wanted Benson all year ; even when he was projected at 15 in first round. But was before injuries. Still think he could be a high reward guy.
