No crime in that, or God forbid they trade it for an actual player

It is worth less then before the draft now.

If Arizona comes out with Keller and Fabbro/Chychrun (even though I'm not as high on him), that's some crazy value.

They're really overreacting to this fall. He was projecting at like 12 and they're on pick 16

Chych would actually be a great fit for AZ. They already have OEL. He would have no pressure to be the top dog or produce a lot offensively.

You can never be scared to bail on a pick you don't like or trade down -- there are so many ways to skin a cat. Can't get locked into something you don't want. Sometimes, you just need to fold 'em if the guy at 18 will be there at 30

Have never seen Fabbro play. He's a BCHL player, so all I have to go off is the various draft pubs, pundits.

The McKeen's review was lukewarm about his top-end upside, although they like him as more a defensive D than some other sources are touting.

“I don’t see him scoring a lot of goals and points in the pros,” said one scout. “I think he’s a penalty killer...he’s pretty strong, yet not that big, so you can’t expect him to be punishing at the next level. I see him as a future number-four defenceman.”

Fabbro will play at least a season or two at Boston University before making the jump to the pros, and it will be hoped that his skating and offensive game continue to develop.

“He’s not an exceptional skater, but it’s fine,” noted one scout. “He has a strong stride and base. He’s not overly dynamic, but smart, competitive and poised. Coaches love him.”
