I just worry a bit about the lack of creativity and offensive ceiling. I've seen him a handful of times, and I feel like the reports aren't exactly inaccurate. He's got a scout's dream of hustle, skating, size, but the rest makes me cautious. If he does slip that far (still have doubts), it's because other GM's -- who love their hustle, size, skating -- had these concerns too.

I'd rather take him than some other names floated though.

I think he makes a lot of subtle good plays with the puck, and I wouldn't be surprised if the offense is eventually higher than the doubters think. However, I do agree that he's more of a 2C than a 1C.

I hope not I don't know what I would do. Part of me doesn't want him but if he falls all the way to 18 you kind of have to take him

Well, so much for McLeod. In a few years, teams in Metro aren't going to enjoy playing against him, IMO.
