Seriously, I read this story to my daughter, and it's full of life lessons:

- If someone's prettier than you, pay a hit man and/or poison them
- If you ever are feeling tired, just walk into someone's house and hop in their bed
- If you find someone sleeping in the woods, just start making out with them.
- Living with multiple men is a good idea

Didn't get the reference, I don't watch anything with commercials or ads. The day I get paid for it then I will reconsider it.

I'm ok with moving Schenn, or pretty much anyone else, it all depends on what's coming back.

I don't get attached to the players. I like certain guys but I would trade Giroux if I was getting back something to help the team now and the future.

Schenn to me is like RJ Umberger back in 2008. Good player, probably has some good seasons ahead... but core player? Nah.

Hahaha this is funny. I took a fairy tales class in college (was supposed to be an easy A but had to study way more than I wanted too) and it's amazing how messed up a lot of those fairy tales are, especially their origins.

If they can get a 1st or an A-prospect for him, I'd take it in a heartbeat, and save all that cap space for something else.

A trade up for Tkachuk makes no sense. However if Hextall views Dubois or Brown as a future #1 center, then it would be worth it. A future #1 center is the last piece of the puzzle IMO.

I think Tkachuk is gonna be a player. To me he seems to have that drive that he won't be out competed and he has skills to beat you different ways.

Serious answer to your question: there's gonna be a lot of 40-50 pt players left out on the open market this summer... sign one of them for 1-2 years at a fraction of the cap-hit it'll take to get Schenn locked up, while waiting for Konecny, NAK, Cousins, etc to arrive offensively.
