Eberle. Now there's an idea. RNH, Eberle, and a pick swap for Subban. Montreal gets the scoring they've been searching for with two talented forwards. Edmenton get a desperately needed shake up, keeps McDavid and Draisaitl, and gets what they need the absolute most: a 1D.
Montreal is still screwed though because all they do is exchange one hole for another. Their defense would be a dumpster fire without Subban. - Victoro311
I don't think Montreal should touch this deal for the same reason your last sentence says. Their D looks like Edmonton's now, if Subban gets dealt. They will need two Carey Price's in net to protect it.
Each passing year we hear Edmonton is set to make a change. The core remains the same, absent the addition of McJesus, and it still sucks in the end. Each passing year the return on Hall, RNH, Eberle and Yak gets worse. I only value one of those four. I will believe it when I see it. |

if I could get a deal centered around Drais plus, I look long and hard at it if i'm MTL. no to RNH. he's not bad but hes not a cornerstone guy. No to eberle. i like eberle, but he is a complementary guy, not a franchise player.
if they could get Drais and the 4, that is the type of move that could really inject what they need. |

I'm a big fan of Drai and I know why Edmonton wouldn't want to part with him. However, you have to pay quality to get quality. I might argue that Drai is the guy that has the most value on that roster, absent McJesus and that includes Hall.

You know Schultz has been in the league more than one year and has had previous contracts, right?

Check mate, nerd. - Victoro311
I am quite aware of his being around more than this year. I cannot fix the site's lack of past contract viewing though.
But cool story, you out nerded, the "nerd". Tallest midget award goes to you |

Your last edit says it all. You don't know. Vesey isn't realistic, nor is Okposo. - Oneonta Penguin

I know Dallas is losing Dmen. That said, there is zero incentive for them to trade Nich for DP. DP doesn't have that type of return or value. Sorry. People continue to overvalue a mystery or suspect in DP by quite a bit.
His value is Mantha or Rychel, not Nich. - Oneonta Penguin He's def not going to get you Mantha not sure why you would want Rychel from CBJ.

Yukupov in Pittsburgh ... that's funny. Have zero desire to see that happen. We already have a mystery in DP; we don't need another one and a bigger bust in Yuk. Why does Pittsburgh have to be the place for reclamation projects all the sudden. I've seen them on the mound for the Pirates, so the Pens feel the need to join the cause? - Oneonta Penguin If it is a 2nd I do that deal all day
