Yakupov might do well with a change of scenery.... He is making 2.5 though. And Eklund says Kruger going to be traded very soon. - z1990z
If Eklund says it, then it's still 50/50 |

Doubtful. Burke just believes that looking like a drunk that rolled out of the bushes is the "in look" these days. |

I don't know if McDavid will be enough for Kruger, Stan should ask for their 2016 first round pick too. |

If you move Crawford to free up dollars to sign Lucic, then where does the money come from to re-sign Panarin? - Hank_Greenberg

Yes, but the question remains....does he suck less, more or equally as much as McNeil, who has 1 career NHL game?
EDIT: I mean holy frank he's the former 1st overall!!....I'd take a chance on him for McNeil or a mid-round pick. If 72+15 cant help him produce then he's in the KHL after this season. No big loss for our own 1st round BUST. |

and while I am at it, I resent that little kid at the hockey awards not know how to pronouce PAN errrr IN.
He clearly was able to memorize his entire stick (or read it properly of the teleprompter...)
Who was he anyway? He hasn't been in any movies that don't have ferrest in them or Donald Trump...he gets to mispronouce a winner's name because he is Canadian?
I would have prefered to see Jay Baruchel dressed like he was ten and trapped in a shed with his mother b/c at least he would know how to say Panarin's name...
and this all from the guy who grew up call #27 on the Leafs Ma HOLLOW vich...
It's just that since October Artemi has been practicing that speech to say this awards every day before practice after practice and since the season ended...at least the kid could have done is learn to pronounce names the other two guys from US & Russia who were't McDavid, but he, like most of Canada thought he should have won even if he played 30 games....

Pittsburgh should have no interest in Kreuger. Run of the mill bottom six (fourth line) guy. We have those. AA is a complete enigma to me. Sorry, if Chicago is looking at Malkin and there is any truth to Pittsburgh being moved, you have to bring more to the table than AA, or Kreuger (nothing special) or Shaw. You don't have the goods IMO at all. Your deal coming back would have had to include terravainen, who you don't have anymore.
There is zero incentive for Pittsburgh to deal him there for the names you are throwing out. Sorry. |

I believe it's spelled "McJesus", Wiz. As for Yakupov, you don't think he would be worth McNeil or a mid-round pick? He could potentially fill a Top 6 W hole at a fairly cheap $2.5mil. If he flames out, oh well, the cost was a 1st round bust with line 3 upside (at best) and his cap hit is off the books next summer. Your thoughts? |
