I just meant it would never happen ...that's what Pitt wants as a starter ...good luck with that |

If you are considering trading Sam Bennet and Monahan for Douglas Murray I don't think your 6th for Fleury is that far fetched. |

Okay now that the rumour that Vey isn't going to be qualified I sure hope that either Anaheim doesn't qualify Brandon Pirri or the Canucks sign him to an offer sheet of $1.2 million, which would be a steal based on his 22 and 14 goals the last 2 seasons. |

Can't see that happening.
Calgary would not give that up (although they must be getting nervous with all the goalies moving) and would be foolish to do so. Not saying a trade won't happen...but...Scheids got 9th overall.
How about Malkin, Fleury for 6th overall, Weidman, Monahan. ? |

Flurry I blieve has a no movement. Thus Pitts will be forced to protect him rather then Murrey in the expansion draft. They better be careful |

I would prefer Sergachev to Chych at this time. His offensive instincts are amazing and defense can be taught a lot easier than offense. |

Makes sense for the Flames because they get Malkin....plus they need a goalie. |

And who wins every trade according to Burke? The team that got the best player, which is clearly Gino |

It was yesterday's biggest hockey story, it just happened to involve the Leafs. It's her job to report on it. Maybe she should have investigated what Benning had for dinner last night, and what he plans on having for breakfast on draft day? - CubanBuffet
I would rather read about why Bob McKenzie might have listed a goalchie in the spot the Canucks are currently scheduled to make a pick. Or what the latest is on Louie Eriksson... |

When your rebuilding trading a high first and 22 year old 30 goal scorer makes little sense ...yes Malkin is by far the best piece but the deal doesn't make them a contender so why do it |
