Does the guy not seem like the most stubborn ba&tard? you have to think by now (with just over a week to go) that he has completely F-ed up resigning Stamkos - how could he let it come to that? Granted, maybe he knows something we all don't OR IMO he's taking the hard-nosed GM role WAY too far - won't he be remembered as the guy who lets the most sought after free agent in years go? imagine if TBL start to decline. It reminds me when Orlando lost Shaq in 1996 - pure stupidity.

Palat should probably get $5-6 Million
Johnson should probably get $5-6 Million
Hedman should probably get $8 Million
Kucherov should probably get $6-7 million
Killorn should probably get $5 Million

Now add on Stamkos and Drouin.

you're right - but Stamkos is the most important - i think we can all agree on that - and SY has been constantly saying he's their top priority. I mean Hedman is a close second but Palat, Johnson, Kuch and Killorn have to take a back burner. i just don't understand why they're about to let him walk!!!

FWIW, it won't be interesting in the least for Canucks fans to watch what happens in Toronto with Freddie Andersen. No Canucks fan I know of gives a shiite.

Is he? They made the Eastern conference finals and took the Penguins to seven games without him. Losing him for nothing is terrible, but so would be blowing up the rest of the team to keep him.

I think he should trade stamkos rights and then deal bishop asap. This will allow them to lock up the rest of the team long term plus toss some extra propects in cupboard. They made it far without stamkos and they have one of the best young goalies in the game they will be fine moving forward.

There are no guarantees his Dman is available if he trades back. He should take who he feels is the best player and ignore the noise from the idiotic arm chair GM's. I won't complain if he takes PLD, Tkachuk, Pulj, serg or Juolevi

I will also be very upset if one of PLD Tkachuk or JP are not taken by us with 50A.

The fact that there is so much uncertainty surrounding Dubois' Position makes me a bit nervous also.

My hope is we get Tkachuk as he seems like a sure fire first or second line NHL winger and can hopefully be a set up man for Boeser on a future first line.
