It is unlikely - VANTEL
anything is possible, but guessing those mock drafts were put out there to generate hits. regardless, I think we get a good prospect with the #5 pick. |

Not sure what that has to do with the Leafs and their new goalie. - VANTEL
The comparison of trading for Schnieder when he was a backup was thrown out there ...I thought you were adding to that thought process and not just stating a new comment

So naive.
Everything has to do with the Leafs. |

despite my little rant, I liked the Andersen trade. May not pay off for them quite yet (as Vantel says). LL said about the same. But I consider him a #1. Moving on....
No way PJ falls to 5. But It'd be cool to dream. Just like we dreamed of winning the lottery.
Hamhuis rights for a 4th or 5th or 6th is tops I would imagine. doubt it happens. He could be better in a lesser role on a better team. |

Someone mentioned on 1040 last week that he might or should go to Europe for a year or so. Get away from everything NHL. Stay outta the spotlight. Clear his head. May be the best. Hope the best for him.. |

JB might not want to give him a raise and will make an offer during free agency and he goes to Utica? or signs with another team.
trying to say I wouldn't be surprised to see him back with the club. |

I called Bishop to Calgary at least a month ago.
I'm gonna start up a website. |

Fleury and Bishop are both rumored to be going there right now. Though Pitts apparently wants 6OA for Fleury |

I also think thus is the most likely scenario unless another team takes into account what happened with his family the past couple of years and gives him a better 1 year contract. |

We are in silly season, really if they were smart they'd sign Reimer to a FA contract that way no assets given up but we are talking about Burke |

Calgary needs a legit goalie and then I'd think they are a playoff team. |

I can see JB offering him a 2 way contract during free agency. Need some players for Utica and if he tears it up and earns a call up, everyone wins.
I'd like to see him a bit harder to knock off the puck and get a little quicker. |

As much as I don't like TO Reimer has improved his game and played pretty well in front of a horrible defence for years. I think he'd be good for Calgary but what give up your 6oa for Fleury who still let's in suspect goals but is still a great goalie. I wouldn't do it. |

I wouldn't go for Fleury or Reimer.
TB is going to need cap space moving forward and have a great young backup. If I were the Flames i'd want Vasilevski but would take Bishop if the cost wasn't too high. |

It would be a total surprise if we draft Juolevi but writers need eyeballs right now. |

You don't give up that much for an aging goaltender. Andersen was a legit deal. Early 2nd and a 4th for Fluery maybe. |

Bishop is going to want big money with his contract up next year? They also have cap issues with all the young guys they have to sign so not sure if they really have the caps space for it. |
