I don't buy the there is a book out on the Flyers PP on how to play it angle for a second. That is the same for every single team. Every team has advanced scouting, and strategies devised on how to play against a team on the PP. I agree that I'd like to see some adjustments made, and add some new wrinkles to it, but the biggest problem was simply about execution. Voracek especially struggled and was hesitant on making plays, making it easier for teams to attack the other side of the ice. Quick puck movement and good decision making, counters aggressive penalty killing.

The second unit at the start of the season and many years past had the same make as the first unit. Very little has worked out for the second unit since the first unit was assembled. I think this proves that not just anyone can do what Giroux does for everyone out there or even Simmonds in the crease or what Timonen, Streit or Ghost for this matter. It's only this season where real adjustments were made to the second unit. I believe (and correct me if I'm wrong) I've seen less umbrella with Matt Read on that right point.

Unless it's some standout like Carey Price, I'm almost exclusively looking at position players in the first 120-150 picks. Goalies are too much of a crap shoot, and just too easy to acquire cheaply from other teams.

I am gonna say it in public...i really like a lot of players on the Penguins...to the point that I dont even care that they won. Sure SJ had some awesome players too, but there really are very few players on the Penguins I dislike anymore and the way they played was awesome to watch. It looks like they had a ton of fun at the parade and some of the injury news was incredible.

Congrats to them and their 10 fans that I can tolerate
