Sure, but have any of those wins been for a Stanley cup? - WingmanWillie
Winning a cup has probably more to do with the GM - putting the pieces in place than the coach. That is not to say the coach has no part . But the biggest thing you should look at is who did the Ducks actually beat for the cup in 2007 - Ottawa Senators. Nuff said. The fourth seeded Ottawa Sens got into the finals by a total fluke and gifted Burkie and RC with a cup.
I wouldn't hold that too much against BB - who is a superior coach and a way superior human being.
I like it. They could get Ed Helms (wouldn't be able to afford Bradley Cooper or Zach Galifinakis) to be their representative. Like Drake - WingmanWillie
They could just straight up put Zach Galifinakis in aviators on the jersey

PEBBLE BEACH, Calif. -- Draft-pick compensation for the hiring of coaches and executives from other teams will be eliminated, effective Jan. 1, 2016, Commissioner Gary Bettman said Tuesday following the completion of the Board of Governors meeting.
The original policy was put into effect Jan. 1, 2015, in part to allow for compensation for coaches and executives under contract who departed for a position with another team. But it morphed to include coaches and executives who had been fired but remained under contract.
