Fair enough....I just think it's crazy that C-bus only has 3 picks in the entire draft. How can you rebuild a team like that? Not only that but I believe Snow offered 4, 34, 60ish and some change. Where as the Flames could offer 6, 34 and 2 picks in the 50's as well as some change....so they would get 2 picks better than that 60ish pick from Snow. I don't think it's that crazy.

if clbs is looking to move the pick, value-wise, I think the offer of 6, 35, 54 & 56 is strong.

I have no idea what the jackets’ top needs are, but that swap seems at least worth considering to me.

I can't see the Blue Jackets passing on him. But a trade like that would be awesome if it went down. Still though, three low picks to move down three spots......I dunno if it's worth it.

The leafs asked Columbus for #8, #34 and #38 for #4 last year.

But yeah, a lot depends on how high the jackets are on JP.

Others include, Datsyuk, Zetterberg, Halak, Elliott, Rinne, Palat, Byfuglien, Mark Stone etc. Odds are still that you draft a player nobody will see play a live hockey game. But the scouting is getting better.
