Is it, though? If it is not true, is it still big? If it is big, is it true? |

I think Cousins could actually be a top 4C. He's smart and has hockey IQ -- that's what stands out to me. I don't think PEB should be a center; he'd be so much better at wing like Laughton, because he really isn't good defensively and can use his speed better. I like that 4th line -- smarts at center, speed at wing. You just need a 3C in free agency.
I would love to roll out something like Laughton-Nielsen-Read. You legitimately have another shutdown line that can also score. It's almost line 2B. That could change the complexion of this forward group. - Mononoke
read hasn't scored in 2 years and Laughton hasn't shown he can score at the nhl level. so not sure how you can say that line can score. |

This could go all the way to the top....if athletes aren't truthful in interviews and sugarcoat things....what is stopping someone as powerful as the President of the United States from doing the same?! Oh my god....

If Tampa Bay beats out the Sharks in the SCF this year, especially if Coburn scores the SC_winning goal, the 2Real reaction could be the HB post to end all posts. - jmatchett383
That will be worth watching.

If Coburn basically just replaces Mike Richards in an exact replica of "The Shift". Decks Pavelski short handed skates back and forth and then scores a miraculous goal to win the cup in OT" |

As good as Bill's coverage is, I really doubt many players or execs in that room are keeping track of what's being written on HB everyday. - Tomahawk
You might be surprised by who reads the site regularly. I'll leave it at that. But I write how I write. I try to be honest and to be fair.

Still think Colin McDonald should be in vandevelde's spot - Bigjohnston
I like McDonald and the "heavy game" he plays. If he was a half-stride faster, he'd have been a long-time NHL regular. |

Actually I thought they should have waived vandevelde instead of Porter.

@GeorgeRichards
One reason #FlaPanthers traded Erik Gudbranson: told he turned down four year deal worth $4.5m per before taking one-year bridge at $3.5.
19 year old prospect already in the NHL and 2nd round pick and moving the 4th round for someone they didnt want to pay |

Why is Bob Mac posting a twitter poll about Stamkos playing tonight?
I thought he was already ruled out? |

4 x 4.5 for a 10 point defensive d man who isn't even great at defense (he's not as bad as people like Yost say tbh, but he isn't good either)?
So Benning will have to offer an even bigger contract than that after giving up McCann and the 33rd pick? Frog tea. |
