I'm in the same boat as you. Having this off year doesn't mean he's crap, so I hate that stuff...but it also means that he should realize a short extension similar to what he's making right now is all he deserves, so he can show what he really is. - stashu
Yep 2yr 1.5-2m a year isn't unreasonable for the crap year he had. If he's still floundering around after that time... so long

Heartless Euros sunk the Caps, and the Bolts, no doubt Murray is aware.
I still say that we don't need Stamkos, a fast sniper for Eichel will do just fine.
A couple of moves, and we'll be able to run with the best of the East. - bobmack13
Our guys better find some speed . No way could we compete with the pens as of today.
I'm really not looking forward to the remake. At all. "Scary" movies just aren't scary anymore. They're too, I hate using the word "commercial", but, like "The Shining" wasn't scary "boo!" but it was super creepy and gave you this uneasy feeling, but that's Kubrick for you.
They need to just leave movies be. Especially the good ones, and I wasn't a particular fan of the "It" miniseries to begin with. I think it was better left to the imagination. And how you make a feature length film out of a book that's over a 1,000 pages I have no idea. - Wetbandit1
I hope the do the Gunslinger series justice when it comes out...

I guess I would say it this way: I watch the two conference finals and find myself saying, "wow that guy is good, and wow, THAT guy is good, and I had no idea how good THAT guy really is." and its for like 6 or 7 guys on each team.
And when I watch our team, I go "Wow he's really good. And I'm pretty sure he's gonna surprise people how good he will be. And THAT one is going to be a superstar. HE's better than people realize."
It's the difference between IS and CAN BE or PROBABLY IS.
The Sabres still have work to do. But I know a big part of the jump last year was filling several top 6 and top 4 positions with guys who genuinely belong there. If we can find a way to fill more of those positions with guys who genuinely belong there, it will let the lesser guys move down the lineup into spots where they really belong, and (I KNOW this is going to be true) so that we will be able to say of them "Wow, he's really good."
If im a expansion team ullmark would be my target from the sabres in the draft. - Wissler
I don't see it happening
There will be other high profile choice already in the league
Also,
Guys like Subban & Fucale are better prospects
It would be surprising to me if we lost a goalie
I think we'll end up losing a guy like Pysyk or Foligno

Does Foligno go the Arbitration route ? I bet he does.

The "and let the lesser guys move down the lineup" is spot on. We still had a couple of guys playing up in top 6 who don't belong there.
Get a LW sniper for Eichel, and. RW for ROR, add in a top tier LHD and they will have improved big time...let the battles be for the bottom six and Bottom pairing

Let him walk, he has Stafford written all over him. Coming from his bloodline, and size, he should have been hitting, and scoring the whole time. He decided to "figure it out" the last two months of contract year.
I hate jump scares, I find them cheap ways to get reactions in movies/tv. I do like the Saw series though (and enjoyed Hostel, but never saw any of those sequels). I think I've watched through Saw 5 - it's definitely gone downhill the last 2 or 3. The original Saw was awesome though. - stashu
theres tiers to scary. theres a few that arent too scary that i liked- it follows, drag me to hell, and the others
theres actually scary- the ring, exorcism of emily rose, paranormal
torture porn- saw, human centipede, and probably the strangers
I haven't read this entire article, only browsed it, but I was VERY impressed with the amount of work put into it. While I know it's about the Leafs, it would seem like something that can be re-worked to reflect Buffalo.
